Judy Scheibe started Paper World in Del Mar, California in 1978. In 1985, she rebranded the store Paper Paper and continued enjoying great success, opening a second location in Encinitas, California from 1985-1990. She expanded her Del Mar location, nearly tripling in size, adding Flashbacks, which specialized in all things scrapbooking

She expanded her Del Mar location, nearly tripling in size, adding Flashbacks, which specialized in all things scrapbooking.
In 2010, she made the difficult decision to close her Del Mar location and relocated over to Solana Beach. She closed her retail store and opened a home studio in August 2015 and continues to provide San Diegans with high quality, personalized invitations and gifts.
